The 14'6" Saturn Whitewater Raft has become a top seller. Whether you are paddling or rowing it is a perfect size whitewater raft for both day trips and epic week long adventures on rivers around the world. This model was custom designed to meet the needs of our guides, outfitters and customers that wanted a whitewater raft that could be versatile for any type of float. The video sent in from one of our guides in Canada is a perfect summary of what this raft can do, truly incredible Class V whitewater action in our custom military black raft! (see it here) or also on our product Video Tab.
The 6" thick drop-stitch floor is the thickest in the industry and provides greater rigidity and bouyancy than any other raft you will find. Our upgraded cold welded construction technology now has the drop-stitch floor rated up to 10 psi (nearly 3 times more rigid than the industry average whitewater raft). If you are looking for a reasonably priced raft that can handle just about any situation, it simply can't be beat.
The 14'6" Saturn Whitewater Raft is longer and wider than our 14’ model. The increased capacity for storage and passengers makes it a great raft for those who get yearly opportunities for overnight trips with family and friends. The technical dimensions are a perfect size to provide a fun ride in Class II whitewater but stout enough to handle Class IV+ whitewater on the Middle Fork, Yukon, Kenai, Snake, Green, Colorado, New, Gauley, and more.
Our new models come standard with a 70% thicker 1.5 mm thick floor, 3 removable thwarts, exterior valves placed on the top side of the tubes for better protection and ease of inflation, longer chafe strips on the straight section for greater durability, upgraded softer rubberized handles, angled D-rings for easier strapping of our frames and an additional 1.5 mm thick PVC layer covering the underside of both the bow and stern. These upgrades were specifically designed for boaters who venture out to battle the toughest river conditions and the thicker floor gives the user the courage to take on the boniest water with the sharpest rocks, it is truly comparable with even the highest quality whitewater rafts. The long waterlines, extremely rigid self bailing drop-stitch air floor, large tube diameters and broad beams make this inflatable whitewater raft one of the most stable on the market today.

Hey Guys, "Recently I decided to upgrade the front casting platform to the new style sold by NRS which has the "front thigh hook" instead of the thigh bar which wraps around from the site. I opted for the "y bar" instead of the "hook" as i didnt like how narrow the hook was I also had the post lengthend to 34 inches as the standard length seemed a bit short. NRS provided me all the parts to retrofit the parts I already had. The cost was around $130 to do the conversion.

A couple weeks ago I did a 3 day trip out to the Olympic Peninsula chasing steelhead on the Solduc, Calawah, and Bogachiel Rivers. Many of the fisherman and guides we ran into liked the new style as it allowed easier entrance/exit to the front seat from either side of the raft... Not having to worry about the thigh bar being in the way. After fishing up front I can say it also is much more spacious and comfortable to fish from while standing. Additionally the fly fisherman like having a stripping basket up front with this setup which can easily be attached to the front lean post. I attached a few pictures of the new set up. Maybe an option you want to include with the fishing frame package if you hadnt already thought of it." Other than that the raft is still working great and seeing lot's of river days! Thanks, John Sunich
