The 9’6” Saturn Inflatable Boat is an excellent tender boat for a yacht or sailboat. It is also a perfect life raft that can be easily stowed in a small area the size of a large suitcase. Its’ size also makes it perfect for 2-3 passengers looking to get from point A to B and has been a HUGE hit with RV-ers looking for a reliable craft to use on both lakes and seas. This boat is lightweight and can easily be carried by a single person making it perfect for a picnic with a wife/child or to get out and do some fishing when you’re on vacation. A small electric motor can quickly move you around the lake while a 9.9 HP outboard can plane this boat in an instant.

Tough, durable, lightweight and stable the 9’6” Saturn Inflatable Boat is ideal for all types of lake activities including cruising, picnicking, fishing and sunbathing. The high-pressure air floor is sturdy and makes a perfect platform to stand and fish.

With its’ simple setup, the 9’6” Saturn Dinghy takes just minutes to inflate and carry on your back down to the lake. It breaks down into a perfect size to fit in the trunk and takes up very little space in your RV. Fully inflated, the size is perfect for the roof of your car or truck. Without the need for a trailer your family will love the ability to take it with you on your vacation.

The 9’6” Saturn Inflatable Boat can handle up to 4 persons and comfortably seats 2 adults and 1 child. It supports an outboard motor of up to 10 HP (short shaft) but will plane and manage effectively with an electric trolling motor

The 9’6” Saturn Inflatable Boat inflatable boat is made with our standard 1,100 Dtex PVC with a high density polyester fabric. It has excellent resistance to tearing, tension, abrasion and puncture. The heavy-duty outer PVC layer helps protect against UV rays, ozone and abrasion while the inner layers provide additional strength and support. The double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand. The pressure relief valve will prevent excessive air pressure in the boats chambers.

• Three carrying handles.
• Three separate internal air chambers plus one inflatable keel chamber.
• One-way drain valve with plug.
• All around, durable rubber strike.
• Pressure relief valve to prevent over inflation.
• Front D-ring with integral lifting handle.

• Double layer of fabric at the bottom of the tubes.
• Deep inflatable V-keel with a rub strake protector helps the boat plane more easily.

I’ve had the SD-290 for about 1.5 years. I have a 6hp Yamaha on it. The dingy is holding up well. It is very stable and comfortable. I only wish I’d bought the SD-260, because the 290 is a little big for an average dingy. I also can’t get it to plane with the 6hp. For the money, the Saturns are a good value.
I owned one of these from 2005 until 2010. It is a great little dinghy. I put a 6 hp Nissan 4 stroke outboard engine on it, drop down dolly wheels, a handle extender on the outboard so I could lie down up towards the bow, and it would plane like that doing a good 15 knotts. Loaded up with 4 people and supplies for my big boat, it would do a steady 5 knotts through the bay. The real advantage in this boat is the high pressure floor. It can be rolled up in the boat when deflated, and with a 12 volt air pump, all 5 chambers can be filled and ready to go in under 20 minutes. The floor is as solid as any piece of 3/4 inch plywood would be, and it's a little softer to lie on and to sit on. It's a great product. I did a lot of market research before buying a Saturn. I highly recommend this product. After 5 years and a series of back surgeries I had to sell my boats. I sold the Saturn for about $100 less than I originally paid for it. That was after 5 years of near constant use.
Thanks you for a wonderful product. I am absolutely amazed at the quality for the price, or even the quality at any price ... the pump that was sent with my kit appears strong and simple. It quickly inflates all five chambers to proper PSI. I am very glad I used Boats to Go for my Saturn 290 tender!
A top quality boat - It is a durable boat which I sometimes need to remain uncovered under the sun because I have nowhere to store it. Still, it is perfectly ok to leave it like that because it is resistant to sunlight and rain. You will not find rain water inside the valves after that which is a great advantage.
This light boat has a great performance in the water since it is rapid and agile. Its design helps it moves smoothly through the water surface and be fast.
The boat is easy to inflate and deflate and also to transport and store. It is pretty for up to 3 people. I usually use it with an a little old electric motor but all works very well
This has been like the kids table at thanksgiving. The adults use the regular boat and the kids and their friends hang out in this boat. It is easy to attach to the other boat and tow it along as we go. We put snacks and drinks in there for the kids and it becomes a fun day for everyone. We have since gotten two more for friends that we go boating with. In addition to that it is easy to take out if you are only with one other person. So all in all it has been great for those weekend outings. Loud kids in the distance and adult conversation on the boat.
I bought a used 27' cruiser last fall and one of these came with the purchase and I love it!!! We tow it behind the cruiser and we can also put it inside on the back when we want to go faster. We also tow it at speed with riders in it and the tow rings have held up with NO problem. The inflatable floor is wonderfull because it is very firm when inflated and my dog, a 75 lb Lab, feels very much at ease riding in it which surprises me because he is kind of old and un-steady sometimes but he climbes in and out on the cruiser and the beach with no problem.

I put an electric trolling motor on ours most of the time and because the boat is so light we get 4-5 hours on one battery charge of run time. I also have a 10hp outboard I run and the boat has NO problem handeling it OH and it flies
After purchasing a cruiser three years ago, the Admiral and I hardly spent anytime on the boat because the dogs had no place to do their business. In fact, my hunting partner of 14 years, Dixie, did not like the cruiser at all. This was odd because she loves my duck boat, my amphibious vehicle, and generally going bye bye or hunting.

I tried using another cheap inflatable vinyl boat for her business, but it was just too flimsy, even with the floorboard. It was too fragile to tow plus, I had to wrestle Dixie into and out of the boat as she just didn't want to get in. With the limited freeboard and lack of rigidity, there was no way to avoid being soaked. Another drawback was I could only land at muddy banks for fear of damaging the boat. Muddy landings results in muddy dog prints on the cruiser. The floorboards, flimsy construction, general looks, lack of rigidity when wrestling Dixie, I decided to upgrade so I could at least wrestle Dixie in safely and hopefully stay a bit drier.

Customer Picture of Saturn SD290 boat with 2 dogs. Click to zoom in.After substantial research and physically inspecting several major brands, I decided on Saturn. I selected the SD290 inflatable boat because the fabric specifications combined with other features like the keel protection strip indicated a substantially more rugged boat than the competition. I also was intrigued by the battery powered deluxe inflator when combined with the advanced inflation valves. When I first unpacked the boat, I was even happier with the quality. The material is quite think and sturdy. When I inflated the boat is extremely rigid.

But the best surprise was Dixie's instant affinity to the SD290 dinghy. After inflating the SD290, Dixie just crawled into the dinghy. You can see that she is quite happy in this picture even with her arch nemesis Zigbee the teacup Yorkie nearby. Now she at least tolerates the cruiser presumably because the Saturn SD290 is nearby. The keel protection strip means we can land on concrete boat ramps now and muddy dog prints are greatly diminished.
