2023 8'6" Saturn Triton (TR260) Inflatable Boats - Red and Dark GreyThe 8'6" Saturn Triton Series (TR260) inflatable boat is one of the smallest dinghies available with a drop stitch high pressure air floor. A reliable tender is about the most important piece of equipment that a sailboat or yacht owner can purchase. The SD260 is great as a dinghy, tender, or sport boat and is the perfect size for smaller sailboats and yachts. Tough, durable, lightweight and stable the 8’6” Saturn Inflatable Boat is ideal for all types of lake activities including cruising, picnicking, fishing and sunbathing.

Our patented Saturn inflatable boats are lightweight and extremely portable. They don't take up much space when deflated which avoids the headache of a rigid hull boat and trailer. The 8'6" Saturn TR260 (and SD260) inflatable boat can take up to a 10 HP short shaft outboard motor and can carry up to 3 people (2 passengers comfortably). This boat can also be used as a lifesaving raft in case of an emergency.

The Saturn TR260 (and SD260) inflatable boat comes standard with our high-pressure drop stitch air deck floor. Our drop stitch floors can take up to 10 psi of air pressure making among the most rigid on the market today. It is incredibly sturdy and makes a perfect platform to stand and fish. Our air floors make our boats much lighter and more compact when deflated and they also make it much easier to assemble and disassemble. To deflate the boat, simply open all air valves and start rolling the boat from the transom, or quickly suck all air out with an electric pump.

The Saturn SD260 is excellent as a small rowing dinghy, perfect for reaching your sailboat or heading out for a day of fishing on the lake. Its’ size also makes it perfect for 2-3 passengers looking to get from point A to B and has been a HUGE hit with RV-ers looking for a reliable craft to use on both lakes and seas. This boat is lightweight and can easily be carried by a single person making it perfect for a picnic with your spouse or children.

Double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand.

The 8’6” Saturn inflatable boat is made with our standard 1,100 Dtex PVC with a high density polyester fabric. It has excellent resistance to tearing, tension, abrasion and puncture. The heavy-duty outer PVC layer helps protect against UV rays, ozone and abrasion while the inner layers provide additional strength and support. The double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand.

• Three carrying handles.
• Three separate internal air chambers plus one inflatable keel chamber.
• One-way drain valve with plug.

• Double layer of fabric at the bottom of tubes.
• Deep inflatable V-keel with a rub strake protector helps the boat plane easily.

I bought my first Saturn, a 260, about 5 years ago when I had a 28’ express cruiser. It was the perfect size to fit on the bow so that I could take it with me to the Southern California Channel Islands. I had looked at a lot of inflatable PVC boats in stores and on the docks, and I figured out that I couldn’t beat the 260 for appearance, price and quality. Three years ago I bought a 38’ foot cabin cruiser that came with a similar size inflatable to the Saturn 260. I have kept both inflatables on the boat and that has given me a chance to compare the two. The one that came with the boat is very similar to the Saturn, but the difference in quality is amazing. I have a 2.5 HP motor and a 4 HP motor and have used both of those motors on both the boats, so I have quite a bit of varied use experience with both boats under the same conditions. I can tell you that the Saturn has held up much better than the other boat in both condition and appearance. I covered both boats most of the time, but each spent a lot of time in the Southern California sun as well. The other inflatable has turned a dingy gray color that, despite numerous washings, can’t be gotten rid of. One of the holders that the grab-rope is attached to has broken making that grab-rope useless. And the floor has become sticky from sun exposure. By contrast, the Saturn has held its bright appearance. The accessories like the grab-ropes, oarlocks, and have maintained the functionality. The quality of that boat has really stood out. My dockmates have taken notice of my Saturn inflatable. Based on its appearance after five years AND its favorable price comparison, two of them have also bought Saturns….one just last week! And because my fiancé has decided she would like to take her dog along on our trips in the inflatable, I just ordered a Saturn 330 to make that possible. Good quality, good appearance, great price! I have no idea why anyone would buy a comparable inflatable anywhere else!

We’ve had ours for over 5 years. We us a 3.3hp outboard on it. The boat has been great for us as a small tender.

This is the best affordable dingy I’ve owned. I keep it on a beach and row it out to my boat several times a week. It stands up to sand and rocks and waves really nicely and it’s relatively light so dragging it up the beach is not a problem. I’ve owned several different brands over the years and this one is by far the best to date.

Very affordable piece of equipment considering the price of boats. It is good enough for me since I will be the only one using it and don't need much space.

It does weigh close to 80lbs so make sure you are up for the challenge, it is still a hefty inflatable. The floor is good but hard to inflate by hand, much easier with an electric pump.

Overall a very affordable vessel if that is what you are looking for.

I guess you hear this quite often, but I thought you might like to hear it again. After inflating, deflating and packing my SD260 it became evident that I made a wise purchase. I was expecting that deflating and packing my SD260 would be a chore, not so. The design of the carry bag is ingenious. Although a bit heavy for a 155 lb senior citizen, it can be done. At least to my car! It's a bit (VERY) cold in New York right now, however, as soon it gets warmer I am going to hit the water. I have been kayaking for years, now that I am 70 a motor is a plus.

Perfect for excursions for yourself. This is a small but reliable and solid inflatable boat. It is quite easy to inflate and it does not take much space when it is deflated. I easily store it in my car trunk and I am able to use it whenever I decide.
The boat is designed to be comfortable and I love spending my days off inside it while having excursions around or fishing.
The shape and the design of the boat ensure excellent performance in the water. The boat is fast enough and easy to control even if you do not have much strength to row.

Perfect For Me! I live on the lake, and I wanted an inexpensive one man boat so I could go fishing. I found this inflatable boat, and decided to give it a try. I take it out every evening, and I love it. It works as it should, and I have more than enough room for my tackle box and cooler. It is lightweight, but very durable. I like the aluminum seats, because they are removable. I find them comfortable to sit on as well. Best thing is, this little boat is easy to get in and out of the water by myself. I highly recommend this inflatable boat. It is the perfect size for a one man operation.
