The most versatile of all of our whitewater rafts the 14' Saturn Whitewater Raft can handle just about any condition needed. It serves as a paddle raft for up to 7 adults or has plenty of capacity for 5 adults when being rowed with one of our Saturn Outfitter frames. The 14’ length, 6’8” width and near 20” tubes combine perfect specifications to handle BIG whitewater but can also provide a fun ride in Class II and smaller rapids. The 14' Saturn Whitewater Raft has been our top seller over the past handful of years and continues to be the raft of choice for customers looking for a whitewater raft that can comfortably seat a big family group and yet can be handled with ease with just 3 paddlers. Whether you’re planning for day trips, overnighters or weeklong fishing trips, this inflatable raft hits the mark. Simply put…if you’re unsure of the right sized raft for your needs the 14' Saturn Whitewater Raft is most likely the perfect fit.
The 14' Saturn Whitewater Raft was specifically designed for boaters who venture out to battle the toughest river conditions with the courage to take on the boniest water with the sharpest rocks. This model has been tested on thousands of miles of whitewater and has done nothing but impress. The long waterlines, extremely rigid self bailing drop-stitch air floor, large tube diameters and broad beams make this whitewater raft one of the most stable on the market today.
The 14' Saturn Whitewater Raft has a revised floor which provides 70% more protection for the entire bottom surface of the raft. The revised floor design provides over 2.4mm of protection where you need it. The 5-layer PVC floor provides a significantly stronger surface when slamming around in the rocky conditions you'll likely find in low water spring and fall conditions. You can target those bows, cuts, browns and smallies without having to worry about avoiding all rocks and debris.
The 14' Saturn Whitewater Raft comes standard with 3 removable thwarts, 16 exterior D-rings including 4 new angled D-rings for better frame strapping, 2 interior D-rings perfectly placed for your throw bag, new rubberized handles for easy carrying, chaffing protection on the top sides of the exterior tubes, 1 repair kit, 1 carrying bag and our standard 2 year warranty.
Package the 14' Saturn Whitewater Raft with one of our NRS Bighorn Frames and you’ll have an absolutely perfect customized setup for taking the family on a leisurely day trip or through your favorite overnight canyon. If you're more into fishing the NRS Fishing Frame package will put you on the water with a customized setup even the guides will be impressed by.
Don't forget the most critical component to any whitewater rafting trip which is a quality lifejacket. Order our discounted MTI Canyon - Type V lifejackets and you'll have one of the safest lifejackets on the market today, used heavily by commercial guides and outfitters.
CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
"I have had my Saturn for three seasons and I LOVE it! Otherwise I would still be saving up for one of the other ones. If you get on the river you will see a ton of Saturns out there. If I have to go and buy a new one after 10 years I am completely fine with that - it costs 1400 freaking dollars!!! I have taken my 14 ft raft thru class four rapids and under - I have wrapped it on rocks, dragged it on rocks, I throw it on the roof rack every time I go rafting so I don't have to fully deflate and inflate, it has been dragged and pulled across gravel at the storage unit - It is seriously tuff! Thanks for the incredible value." -----Colorado Rafter
“Hey Cody, love the new raft. We’ve used it several times all with great results. Oh, by the way you may get some free press. We did a video with Leland Outfitters (who were impressed) and there is a great shot of us fishing on the Saturn. Will send it to you if it makes the final cut.” ----- Andrew
"Here's a seasoned vet Saturn Raft Review – Just got off the Middle Fork of the Salmon on Tuesday. We took a 15 foot Saturn Outfitter that we purchased from you this spring. The boat did a great job. It’s very stable, tracks wells through the maze of rocks at 2.15 on the MF and most noticeably the tubes stay very cool compared to most non-PVC boats. It can also care a ton of weight with the big tubes. We also took a 12 foot Saturn kayak down with us and it really did well. I will send some killer photo’s of the boats in action." ----- Thanks, Hhan Olsen
“First of all, we are LOVING our Saturn Raft. We just returned to WV from a weeklong trip on the Main Salmon and had a GREAT trip. In addition, we have both paddled and rowed our Saturn Raft on the New River and the Gauley River in WV. We have talked it up, shown it off, and helped sell two others here in WV. Note that Bridget and I are not just "any old" river rats. Bridget is currently president of the West Virginia Wildwater Association (and I was the previous president). We are well known in the WV paddling community and our endorsement says A LOT!” –---- Tom Connelly
“Hey Saturn! How has your summer been? I can tell you for a fact, it hasn’t been as much fun as my summer! We were on Desolation Canyon/Gray for a week, went up to the Snake and played on the Grand Canyon section 2 times. Then we have been camping about every other weekend. It has been a busy summer and I am not ready for it to end. Give me a couple of weeks and I will try to round up pics from everybody. P.S. Oh yea, Love the raft and I have told a few people to check out your page.”-----Todd
“Yesterday got out and fished again on the Wynoochee River with a couple friends and we landed a couple nice steelhead. I attached a pic of the fish with raft in the background. During the float and at the take out I had several drift boat owners/fisherman interested in the raft and asking questions. The last couple outtings this has been the case. Just curious if you have any business cards/pamphlets you would want me to hand out. Many of the guys said they’d be looking at the website soon.” – John Sunich
Hey Saturn, things are going good, a little slow river is frozen so I have been on the Olympic Peninsula for the past 3 weeks, bought another Saturn from a guide and I’m happy with the way I finally got them set up. I put the raft through some stuff the average guy would run from, handled good, had a lot a comments about the floor, feel free to use me as a reference anytime you want, I am completely satisfied and like I said a long time ago the customer service is the most important fact, which in your guys case was the best...-----SOMERS OUTDOORS
Hey Guys, "Recently I decided to upgrade the front casting platform to the new style sold by NRS which has the "front thigh hook" instead of the thigh bar which wraps around from the site. I opted for the "y bar" instead of the "hook" as i didnt like how narrow the hook was I also had the post lengthend to 34 inches as the standard length seemed a bit short. NRS provided me all the parts to retrofit the parts I already had. The cost was around $130 to do the conversion.

A couple weeks ago I did a 3 day trip out to the Olympic Peninsula chasing steelhead on the Solduc, Calawah, and Bogachiel Rivers. Many of the fisherman and guides we ran into liked the new style as it allowed easier entrance/exit to the front seat from either side of the raft... Not having to worry about the thigh bar being in the way. After fishing up front I can say it also is much more spacious and comfortable to fish from while standing. Additionally the fly fisherman like having a stripping basket up front with this setup which can easily be attached to the front lean post. I attached a few pictures of the new set up. Maybe an option you want to include with the fishing frame package if you hadnt already thought of it." Other than that the raft is still working great and seeing lot's of river days! Thanks, John Sunich
