We package about 25% of our Saturn Rafts with Carlisle Oars because they are durable, cost effective, strong and the most popular rafting oars in America. Carlisle oar and blade shafts are made of tempered aluminum with plastic coatings. Blades fit into shafts with spring-loaded push-buttons.

New for 2010 Carlisle shafts are yellow in all sizes and blue is available in 8, 9 or 10' lengths. Carlisle Outfitter Blade are black or yellow in either 6 1/2" or 8" width with a thicker, stronger aluminum shaft. Handles are molded plastic with foam grips attached. Order the Carlisle Stopper Sleeve if you use oarlocks. Prices listed are for one oar shaft without a blade.

For a complete oar you need to add blades, plus a Stopper Sleeve if you use oarlocks. A 9' Carlisle with Outfitter blade weighs about 7 1/2 lbs. Oar length listed here includes the blade attached.  Blades are sold separately.
